An idea materializes from nothing. Young and fragile it seeks out a loving owner. It finds you, and you adopt it. Seeing it’s tiny potential, you share it with an open-minded friend. Your friend tells you what they like about the idea and where it has opportunities. They also tell you what concerns them about the idea and how those obstacles might be overcome. Strengthened with proper feedback, the idea has grown. You share it with more creative thinkers and they add to the idea and build on it. The idea changes and grows even further. If this kind of interaction happens to you enough, you start to internalize this process. The next time an idea finds you, you nurture it. You develop the idea and allow it to change and grow with feedback from others.
